4ème édition de la Manif d'Art, sur le thème de la rencontre. Biennale d'art internationale qui dure du 1er mai au 15 juin 2008. Situé au cœur du quartier artistique de la capitale nationale, l'organisme présente aux deux ans de mai à juin la Manif d'art, un événement à caractère thématique voué à la promotion et à la diffusion des arts actuels. Dispersé en divers lieux du quartier Saint-Roch, l'événement rassemble plusieurs collaborateurs du secteur culturel et artistique autour de ses activités. Des artistes du Québec, du Canada et de l'étranger y sont regroupés dans le cadre d'expositions d'envergure présentant la fine pointe des grands courants en art actuel. Des colloques et forums s'adressant au grand public et au public spécialisé abordent différents questionnements sur les notions et enjeux des arts visuels actuels. Des activités satellites offrent des spectacles, présentations et soirées d'animation où plusieurs disciplines artistiques se côtoient. Pour un prix modique, des visites libres, des visites guidées bilingues, de l'animation jeunesse et des ateliers de création sont offerts sur place afin de permettre à tous et chacun de venir vivre l'effervescence de l'art actuel.

L’endroit est bien plus qu’un lieu où l’on peut obtenir des repas bon marché. En effet, les gens y viennent aussi pour socialiser et faire de nouvelles connaissances. De plus, ces derniers peuvent compter sur le personnel de l’entreprise qui est toujours prêt à les écouter et à les supporter. Le Resto Plateau offre au moins deux choix de repas, dont un végétarien, au prix de 3$ ou 5$ pour les mieux nantis.
